Blogs
I’ve been blogging for over 12 years. I built my first beauty blog using Blogger in 2006. I soon switched to WordPress and haven’t looked back since. While I cut my teeth blogging about beauty and style, I now primarily blog about technology and lifestyle.

I wrote these blog posts for Ricoh’s Direct-to-Garment (DTG) division. The content’s goals range from lead generation to establishing thought leadership in the DTG industry.

Product Review: Guerlain KissKiss Lipstick
Originally published on the now-defunct Makeup Moxie's Beauty Blog. Live links have been removed.
Lipsticks are Like Men...

...and, sometimes, you just need to surrender to temptation.
It was only a matter of time before I gave in to the uncommonly good looks, the unapologetic aura of luxury and, of course, the seductive promise of being able to last for hours.
So I finally indulged my carnal desires and picked up a couple of super-sexy Guerlain KissKiss Lipsticks (hope you weren't thinking I was talking about something else, you dirty birdies 😉
Though the elegance of its formula is evident from first swipe, the high quality of Guerlain KissKiss truly reveals itself after several hours of wear.
I tested both the "metallic pearl" and "cream" versions of this lipstick and I'm fully and equally enamored by both.
Guerlain KissKiss Metallic Pearl Formula
The metallic pearl formula (which I tried in "Rose Entetant," a rose shade with a subtle golden sheen) has super-subtle gold sparkles and a luxuriously silky formula that, despite its shimmery finish, actually made the fine lines on my lips appear minimized and my lips appear a little plumper.
Though KissKiss began to wear off after about 4-5 hours (some of which was spent sipping a couple cocktails ;), the product wore off evenly and my lips still looked lush and felt supple enough that I was happily getting by without a touch-up.
Guerlain KissKiss Cream Formula
Because of my heavy lipgloss addiction, the cream-finish version of KissKiss was a little less comfortable for me to wear because it felt drier than the pearl formula.
Nevertheless, after about two hours of wear, the cream formula's color was still going strong and had dried down into a "just bitten" semi-matte stain that looked positively kissable.
The Bottomline on Guerlain KissKiss Lipstick:
I'm in true, silkily sexy, lipstick love. But if you're looking for a second opinion on Guerlain KissKiss, I spotted the lovely Carmindy using this lipstick on a client in last week's episode of What Not to Wear 🙂
Highly recommended and sealed with a "kisskiss", Guerlain KissKiss Lipstick is available in 24 shades and costs $27 from Sephora.
